New Day Literacy was born out of a desire to help EVERY child be a successful reader.

New Day Literacy’s founder, Jen, has been a credentialed elementary teacher in New York, Massachusetts, and California since 1995. Jen has a love for reading and literacy and is now tutoring students using the Orton-Gillingham approach, having been trained at the Clinical level through the Orton-Gillingham Academy and is now a Fellow-in-Training with the Academy. For the past 10 years, Jen has worked as an advisor to parents who have chosen homeschooling as the path of education for their children. Homeschool consultations and support are available in addition to Orton-Gillingham tutoring.
